The manuscript of one of the glorious sons of the Kazakh people, Malik Gabdullin, kept in the manuscript fund of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan of the Central State Archives of Almaty "Kazakh balasy", "The Son of a Kazakh" was presented to the attention of readers.

In the letters and memoirs of M.Gabdullin, we read that during the war years he wrote the work "Kazakh balasy" in the Kazakh and Russian languages and as a precautionary measure sent the manuscript to Sabit Mukanov. This is also stated in the memoirs of Sabit Mukanov. In 2019, at a conference dedicated to the day of conferring the title of Hero of the Soviet Union to M.Gabdullin, we learned from his pupil Serik Negimov that for a long time he could not find the manuscript of his teacher “Kazakh balasy”. In this regard, an expedition of the museum's research workers was organized in Almaty to search for the manuscript of Malik Gabdullin. The manuscript, which could not be found for many years, was found in the manuscript fund of the Writers' Union of the Central State Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

M.Gabdullin's legacy, which was kept in handwritten form, was brought to Kokshetau as a result of research work of the museum's researchers, an electronic version was prepared, analyzed at a meeting of the scientific council and presented to print.

The Hero's work, which had become a hostage of time, which was previously on the dusty shelves of the archive with yellowed sheets, was presented to the attention of those present today.

This work is valuable in that it conveys the atmosphere of the recordings, which were carried out under the rumble of artillery cannonade and the whistle of hurricane-raining bullets.

Writers and intellectuals from Kokshetau took part in the presentation of the book. The book was presented by a writer-playwright, director of ТОО "Akmola - "Tirshilik", Zhabal Ergaliev and head of the internal policy department of Akmola region Altynay Amrenova.

The members of the scientific council who participated in the event, the scientists who wrote a review for this book, the chairman of the Akmola regional council of veterans Gosman Tulegul, the candidate of philological sciences Ayan Kazhybay and the candidate of philological sciences Sabit Zhambek, noted that the main value of the book is the authenticity of the events described. Scientists unanimously stressed that “it is necessary to make efforts in promoting this book, for the development of patriotic feelings in the minds of the younger generation, which unfortunately do not read books. This is our common task ”.

The guests who took part in the event congratulated on the publication of their valuable work, dedicated tothe 105th anniversary of the hero and the 75th anniversary of Victory. They also thanked the museum staff.

The participants of the event expressed their gratitude to the museum staff for their fruitful work, congratulating them on the publication of a valuable work, released in honor of the 105th anniversary of the Hero and the 75th anniversary of Victory.
