On March 5, the scientific and educational expedition "Values modified by independence" of the museum staff in Almaty ended, in the evening "Our Malik" in the literary-memorial museum complex of S.Mukanov and G.Musrepov at the merger of museums in Almaty.

The moderator was the poet, laureate of the International Literary Prize "Alash", candidate of philological sciences, head of the literary-memorial museum of S.Mukanov and G. Musrepov Adilgazy Kairbekov. He spoke about the creative relationship between Sabit Mukanov and Malik Gabdullin. The chief curator of the department of funds of the museum is S.K. Zhuzzhanova told the guests about the activities and the main directions in the work of the museum, senior researcher Zholaushina M.Sh. made a review on the books "Son of a Kazakh" and "I am the son of the people". The event was attended by employees of the museum and students of the philological faculty of KazNPU named after Abai (former KazPI named after Abai), in which Malik Gabdullin worked as director for 12 years.

The tour guide of the museum at a high professional level acquainted the audience with the exhibition "Our Malik", built from the materials of the museum complex fund (book, manuscript, photo, letters, etc.), dedicated to the scientist.

At the end of the evening, the chief curator of the museum’s funds, Zhuzzhanova S.K. donated to the fund of the literary-memorial museum complex of S.Mukanov and G.Musrepov the books "Son of a Kazakh" and "I am the son of the people"and the book-album "Fruitful years".

In turn, the fund of the M. Gabdullin Museum was replenished with a collection of poems by the poet A. Kairbekov "Nazkonyr", books by Mariyam Mukanova "I miss Sabit" and "Mukanov’s office", as well as a guide in three languages "Walk with S. Mukanov" prepared by A.Kairbekov
