From 18 to 20 December of the reporting year, the museum staff visited the city of Nur-Sultan, where they took part in the international forum "Museums of Kazakhstan: competitiveness in the era of globalization", dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to the program, plenary sessions were organized on the following topics: "Near and Far Abroad Experience in Museum Development", "Museums of Kazakhstan: problems and solutions".

Director of the National Museum Arystanbek Mukhamediyauly, statesman and public figure, doctor of philological sciences and professor Myrzatay Zholdasbekov, scientist, archaeologist Z.Samashev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Kazakhstan Thilo Klinner made speeches and reports at the opening ceremony.

On December 19, we visited the museum of the founder of Kazakh literature, poet and writer, public and statesman Saken Seifullin, where the statues of S.Seifullin, B.Mailin, I.Zhansugurov are presented in the introductory part of the museum. The museum's guide G.Khusainova spoke about the propaganda of the great sons of the Kazakh people to the young generation, who gave their lives for the future of the country and about the plans for the coming year.

On the last day of a business trip, i.e. On December 20, employees were engaged in research activities about Akmola writers Madi Khasenov and Nogerbek Magzumov in the library of the Kazakh National Academy.

The library fund got acquainted with 9 books by Madi Khasenov and 4 books by Nogerbek Magzumov. Researchers have processed the materials, systematized and later donated them to the museum fund. At the same time, we got acquainted with the study of the writer Abish Kekilbaev, which is located in the library of the National Academy. There are bookshelves, wall clocks, a table lamp and many other valuable items.

It would be nice if in our area there were also offices of such worthy personalities as Saken Zhunusov, Erkesh Ibragimov, Yestay Myrzakhmetov.
