On December 12, an evening “The heroic spirit of the great steppe” dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, organized by the Museum of M. Gabdullin, was held in the conference hall of "Orleu" of the Institute for Advanced Training of Pedagogical Workers in the Akmola region.

The event was attended by representatives of the intelligentsia, directors and employees of cultural institutions, descendants of one of the associates of Kenesary khan Baubek batyr, school teachers and media representatives.

The moderator was the director of the museum Malik Gabdullin Kudayberli Myrzabek. The event began with a congratulatory speech of a public figure, director of the newspaper "Arga Azhary".

During the meeting, took placethe presentation of the documentary film "Baubek batyr" and the presentation of the book "Best of the best is Baubek Batyr", prepared by the museum of M.Gabdullin.

Senior researcher of the museum Ayagoz Makhmetova made a report on the work done in the outgoing year on the "Homeland of heroes" project.

Then the chairman of the Council of Veterans of Akmola region Gosman Tolegul, lecturer of KSUnamed after Sh.Ualikhanov, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Berdibay Shalabay, Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Work of KSUnamed after Sh.Ualikhanov, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Amanai Seitkasimov and the descendants of Baubek batyr, who gave a positive assessment to the documentary film “Baubek batyr”.

At the end of the event, Yeskendir Khasangaliev's song "Atameken" was performed by Farhat Sagymbaev.
