North Kazakhstan and Akmola regions are sacred land, where many great people were born.
On June 11, at the Malik Gabdullin Museum under the Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of the Akmola regiontook place the grand opening of the mobile exhibition "Abylai khan - who raised the flag of independence", dedicated to the 310th anniversary of Abylai Khan and the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The exhibition was presented by the museum complex "Residence of Abylai Khan" in Petropavlovsk as part of the roadmap "Kokshetau - the cultural capital of Kazakhstan".
The event began with a welcoming speech by the deputy akim of Akmola region AinaErmekovnaMusralimova and writer, playwright, director of “Tirshilik” LLP ZhabalErgalievichErgaliev.
The trusting relationship between Abylai Khan, who united the three zhuzes, and the orator Kanai bi, a native of the Atygay Karauyl clan, are imprinted on the pages of history.
Malik Gabdullin is the ninth descendant of a public and statesman, a valiant son of the Kazakh people, orator Kanai bi.
The tour guide Nazgul Abayevna Beisenbina introduced the exhibition "Abylai khan - who raised the flag of independence", dedicated to the life and work of Abylai Khan, which links two cultural institutions.
The event was attended by the intelligentsia of Kokshetau and representatives of the media.
The traveling exhibition will run within 11-25 of June.
