War. Victory. Memory -Malakhov Valentin Ivanovich

Malakhov Valentin Ivanovich was born on July 30, 1923 in the village of Volodarskoye, Aiyrtau district, Kokchetav region. After graduating from high school, he was conscripted into the Red Army in 1942. The training took place in a reserve regiment in the vicinity of Kokshetau. He was a cadet in the sergeant school. Then he was mobilized to the front. The first battle was during the liberation of Shableevka. He was the commander of the post office. In one of the battles he was wounded in both legs. After recovering, he was appointed head of the central telephone exchange of the military unit of a special rifle division. In 1943 he was again wounded by a mine fragment.

He was evacuated to Georgia in a hospital in Tbilisi, then demobilized.

After demobilization, he worked as a teacher, head teacher, director at a secondary school.

For military labor he was awarded two Orders of the Patriotic War and many jubilee medals.
