On October 16, in the state historical, cultural and literary-memorial museum-reserve of Abai " Zhidebay-Borili " in Semey, a republican scientific and practical conference "Great names of the Great Steppe" was held, organized by the Association of museums of outstanding personalities, in which the director of the museum M.Gabdullina Kudayberli Myrzabek speaking with a report "Heritage of the Great Steppe: history and personality".

During the conference, a memorandum was signed between the Association of Museums of Prominent Personalities and the Malik Gabdullin Museum in order to establish mutual cooperation in the field of culture, preservation, research and promotion of national cultural heritage and strengthening cultural and creative ties.
