On January 15, was opened the museum of the outstanding teacher, the famous akyn-improviser, the founder of aitys in our region, Koken Shakeyev. It was opened by the Malik Gabdullin Museum together with the Krasnoyar multidisciplinary school-gymnasium No. 3 in order to collect the legacy of Koken Shakeyev and promote his work to the younger generation. The event began with a speech by a pupil of Koken Shakeyev, akyn, a member of the Union of Writers, the Union of Journalists, museum director Malik Gabdullin Kudaiberli Myrzabek. He shared his memories of Koken Shakeev, who was a teacher of young akyns Koksha and continued the path of akyns Shozhe, Orynbai, a pupil of the akyn Shaken Otyzbayev.

The grand opening of the museum was attended by respected representatives of the city's intelligentsia, relatives of the akyn, students of the school of akyns named after Koken Shakeyev and students of the gymnasium school.

At the opening ceremony wasmade a speech and expressed gratitude to the employees of two spheres (culture and education) by the head of the Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of the Akmola region Saule Zhuzhanova, the deputy head of the Department of Education of the Akmola region Botagoz Duisenova, writer, journalist, public figure, director of “Life”LLP Ergaliev Zhabal.

Special guests of the event, the akyn's relatives came according to the old tradition with gifts.

Usen Tabysbek, a researcher of the Malik Gabdullin Museum, conducted a tour of the KokenShakeyev Museum.

Besides the museum of the national akyn of Kazakhstan Koken Shakeyev, was opened the office of "Spiritual revival". The pupils of the Krasnoyar multidisciplinary school-gymnasium # 3 made a presentation to the guests about the great personalities of the Great Steppe.

The event continued with the concert program “The hero of aitys is the poet Koken”, also prepared by the Krasnoyar multidisciplinary school-gymnasium No. 3, which began with the dedication of the prize-winner of regional and republican aitys, akyn-improviser, winner of the prize of the literary competition “Sword”, deputy director scientific and universal library named after M. Zhumabaev, akyn Kuanysh Ospanov. Pupils of the school of akyns named after Koken Shakeyev showed an excellent example of aitys.

Thus, we can say with confidence that the name of the outstanding akyn Koken Shakeyev will never be forgotten, thanks to the opening of the museum and the holding of similar events, as well as when there are followers following in his footsteps. And we believe that today's event is proof that Koken Shakeyev will forever remain in our memory!
