On November 15, was held an international scientific conference “Scientist Malik Gabdullin and the new Kazakhstani patriotism”, organized by the Museum of the Hero of the Soviet Union, academician, writer, public figure Malik Gabdullin, together with the Kokshetau Technical Institute of the Committee for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The conference dedicated to the birthday of Malik Gabdullin was attended by representatives of the intelligentsia of the city of Kokshetau, professor of ENU, doctor of philological sciences Karzhaubai Sartkozhauly, professor of ENU, doctor of historical sciences Zhambyl Omarovich Artykbaev, professor, associate professor of the university A.Myrzakhmetova, T.M.Muhamadeev made reports. editor-in-chief of the publishing house "Altyn kitap" V.Z.Titenev, professor of KSU, Ph.D. Zhambek Sabit Nurmukhanbetovich.
