May 9 - Victory Day. This is the most significant holiday of heroism and invaluable glory in defending the Fatherland, boundless courage and dedication of our people. In honor of this holiday, on May 6, the M. Gabdullin Museum organized an open-air exhibition "Legacy of veterans" for Kokshetau residents and guests of the city.
The purpose of the exhibition: the formation of national consciousness among the younger generation through the promotion of heroic traditions, the valor of our ancestors, the upbringing of patriotism, a sense of love for the Motherland, to give a worthy historical assessment of the work of the older generation.
The exhibits of the Kokshetau Technical Institute, the Regional Court and the Police Department are presented at the exhibition on the basis of a memorandum of cooperation.
The Malik Gabdullin Museum presented at the exhibition materials, documents, photographs from the personal funds of WWII veterans, as well as costumes and documents for orders and medals of war veterans: Zh.Ramazanov, B. Batyrkhanov, S. Aytpayev, which the descendants of war veterans donated to the museum fund at temporary storage and use.
The museum of the Akmola regional court presents military awards, documents and photographs of front-line judges who took part in the war.
The museum, subordinate to the police department of the Akmola region, presented at the exhibition costumes of the Great Patriotic War participants AydarkhanBaikenov, Ivan Emelin with awards, as well as weapons used in World War II, books and brochures about the war, materials about war veterans published in periodicals.
There were also exhibits that were found on the battlefields and raised from the excavation sites by members of the military-patriotic search club "Kokshe-searc", which provides all possible assistance to the descendants of warriors, participants in the Great Patriotic War, which claimed the lives of millions of people.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by representatives of the Akimat of the Akmola region, state and public activists of the Akmola region, the department of culture, archive and documentation of the Akmola region, the Kokshetau technical institute of the Committee for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akmola regional court, the Police Department of the Akmola region, the military-patriotic search club created on the basis of the Kazakh Humanitarian and Technical College, the Akan Sire College of Culture, residents of the city, the media.
Visitors will be able to familiarize themselves with the exhibitions, which will be organized in a military tent, in stages until the end of June.
In total, 340 exhibits were presented at the exhibition "Legacy of veterans", which was held in an open-air tent. Of these, 147 exhibits are exhibited by the M. Gabdullin Museum, 105 exhibits - by the Police Department of the Akmola region, 88 exhibits - by the Akmola regional court.
