THE WORLD OF ABAY AND THE FATE OF BAZARALY

On November 11, in the city of Semey, under the auspices of the "Association of Museums of Outstanding Personalities of Kazakhstan", was helda scientific and educational round table "The world of Abay and the fate of Bazaraly". It was held by the state historical, cultural and literary-memorial museum-reserve of Abai "Zhidebay-Burili" and the museum of Gabdullin of the Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of the Akmola Region.

The meeting was held in the context of one of the main characters of M.Auezov's novel "Abai's Way". The event was attended by the descendants of Bazaraly Kaumenuly from Kokshetau Oralbek Saydalin, Arman Nurpeisov, the director of the museum M.Gabdullin Kudayberli Myrzabek, a resident of Zharma district, the great-grandson of Bazaraly Aldash Kenesarin, chroniclers, historians Beken Isabaev, Moldabek Zhanbolatov and other representatives of the intelligentsia.

During the round table, they talked about and discussedhow Bazaraly was in real life, in addition to a work of art, about the burial place of a historical person, topics related to research.

An expedition trip of the descendants of Bazaraly living in Kokshetau, organized by the Malik Gabdullin Museum, went to the Abay district of the East Kazakhstan region. More than a century later, the descendants of Bazaraly Kaumenuly met, visited holy places and burial places in their native lands, read a memorial pray. The descendants of Bazaraly expressed warm words of gratitude to the staff of the M.Gabdullin Museum for their assistance in organizing this event.
