On the 25 of February in the Akmola regional universal scientific library named after M.Zhumabaev held a competition of young artists "The history of the Golden Horde is in the memory of future generations" among schoolchildren of the city, dedicated to the 750th anniversary of the Golden Horde, organized by the M.Gabdullin Museum together with the Department of Education of Kokshetau.

The aim of the competition is promoting the customs and traditions of the Kazakh people, increasing interest in art among children who have the ability to draw, as well as developing their skills through a sense of healthy competition among children. The competition is aimed at increasing the sense of respect for the traditions and national values ​​of the Kazakh people.

Welcoming speech were made by the members of the jury: senior lecturer of the Department of Fine Arts, Drafting and Design of Kokshetau State University named after Sh.Ualikhanov; Mazhitov Talgat Kalimzhanuly - methodologist of the regional educational and methodological center for working with creatively gifted children; Toksanbaev Murat Serikbayevich - methodologist of the city department of education in physical culture and basic military training.

There were 28 pupils from 15 schools of the city in the creative competition.

The winners of the competition were awarded with special prizes and diplomas.

In the nomination "The plot composition" showed herself a student of the 11th grade of secondary school №14 Kenesbaeva Diana. The student of the 10th grade of the school-gymnasium №6 Li Alina showed herself in the nomination "Fantasy", and in the nomination "Drawing techniques" the winner was the student of the school-gymnasium named after M.Gabdullin Mukhamedyarov Aigerim.

The honorary third place in the competition was taken by Elizaveta Drobysheva, a 9th grade student of the ECOS school-gymnasium.

The II place was awarded to a student of the 11th grade of secondary school №5 Barakhoeva Milana.

By the unanimous decision of the jury, the 1st place was won by a student of the 9th grade of secondary school №4 Grunkovskaya Maria.

It was very difficult for the jury members to determine the winners. All the participants were unique and talented in their own way.
