On March 29, within the framework of the program «Kokshetau – the cultural capital of Kazakhstan 2021», the opening ceremony of the exhibition «Erlikke tagzim» dedicated to the 80th anniversary of M.Gabdullin's feat near Moscow took place.
Purpose: to promote to the younger generation, the selfless feat of the Kazakhstani soldiers who took part in the Second World War, to educate the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism.
The exhibition presents exhibits from the funds of the Military History Museum of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Regional Museum of Local Lore of Semey and the Malik Gabdullin Museum.
Museum guides told in detail about the divisions formed in Kazakhstan that took part in the defense of Moscow during the Second World War.
During the event, the welcoming speech was delivered by the head of the Department of Culture of the Akmola region A.B.Sabitova, head of the Department of information and image work of the Military Historical Museum of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan S.E.Seleubaeva, director of the Regional Museum of Local History of Semey K.Z.Sabyrbay, akyn, director of the Akmola Regional Universal Scientific Library named after M.Zhumabayev K.R.Myrzabek and Candidate of Historical Sciences, associate professor of Kokshetau University named after Sh.Ualikhanov A.A.Seitkasymov.
The event was attended by representatives of the intelligentsia of Kokshetau, teachers of the city's schools on the subject of history, students and cadets, as well as the media.
