On June 26-27, employees of the Malik Gabdullin Museum paid a working visit to the village of Ishim (Baubek Batyr), Zhaksy District.

Let’s remind you that in 2016 the project "Homeland of heroes" was launched with the aim of collecting historical data on the history of the local region, famous personalities, promoting heroism and the life of our batyrs, who are the pride of the Kazakh people. Within the framework of the project, a scientific expedition was organized to the homeland of Talgat Bigeldinov, Sagadat Nurmaganbetov, Rakhimzhan Koshkarbaev and Karaul Baubek batyr.

Within the framework of the "Spiritual Revival" program, one of the objects included in the number of sacred places was the grave of Baubek batyr. Research work on the fate of this hero has intensified. The result is the book "Zhaқsynyk zhaқsysy - Baubek batyr", a documentary film, scientific conferences and events held since 2017. This time, with the participation of museum staff, a tombstone was installed on the grave of Baubek batyr's mother Shuga Boltankyzy, buried in the old Besob burial ground, on which the following lines are written:

Our mother Shuga was a fortune teller,

The trail did not break for a long time.

Reverence the holy ghost,

People still make a legend.

Employees of the Malik Gabdullin Museum held an event "A mother of the hero", dedicated to the memory of the hero's mother, honored the memory.
