On May 3, the expedition of the museum staff continued at the secondary school named after Amangeldy, which is located in the village of Angal batyr, district named after Birzhan sal. We were greeted with special warmth and attention by teachers, aul residents, singers of the regional house of culture named after Birzhan sal.

The chief curator of the department of funds of the museum S.Zhuzzhanova, researcher A. Baltabaev within the framework of "Gabdullin readings" conducted lessons-lectures to pupils of 9 and 7 grades. Further, the members of the expedition, accompanied by akim of the rural district named after Angal batyr Amina Malikovna, director of the school Nurlan Amangeldinovich and Mulla Amanbay visited the Muslim cemetery in Koskaragay, paying tribute to the memory of Angal batyr, Zhanbatyr kazhy.

Our stay in this aul coincided with the celebration of the “Day of the Aul”. In this regard, we were honored to take part in the ceremonial event dedicated to the opening of the "Rukhani zhagyru" classroom at the school.

The concert program, prepared by the singers of the district house of culture, became the decoration of the holiday. Warm memories of aksakals, honorary veterans of labor about Angal batyr, as well as about the history of the emergence and development of the aul were recorded on videotape.

At the end of the evening, Amanbai kazhy, thanking the museum staff for their work on educating young people in the spirit of patriotism using the example of the life of the batyrs, gave parting words on behalf of the village residents.
