As you know, by the decision of the organizing committee of the republican festival "Spiritual Treasure (Rukhani Kazyna) - 2021" the city of Kokshetau was declared the cultural capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2021. In this regard, on July 13, took placethe grand opening of the mobile exhibition "Zhambyl of the six alashes", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 175th anniversary of the birth of the great akyn Zhambyl Zhabayev.

In total, the exhibition presents about 100 exhibits from personal use, clothes of Zhyrau Zhambyl Zhabayev, as well as items presented at one time to the akyn and the museum as a gift.

The purpose of the traveling exhibition is to promote the life and work of a prominent representative of Kazakh oral literature Zhambyl Zhabayev. Popularization among the younger generation of the invaluable spiritual heritage of the Kazakh people, left by the great folk poet Zhambyl and folklorist, academician, public figure Malik Gabdullin.

The event began with a welcoming speech by the head of the department of culture, archives and documentation of the Akmola region, Aigul Sabitova.

The opening was made by the director of the Tynyshpayev Museum of History and Local Lore of the Almaty Region Ryszhan Ayazbaeva, the head of the literary-memorial museum of Zhambyl Zhabayeva, the granddaughter of Zhambyl Zhabayev Saltanat Zhambylova and Doctor of Philosophy, a member of the Writers' Union of the Republic of Kazakhstan Erbolat Bayatuly.

Zhambyl Zhabayev, who glorified such heroes of the past as Utegen, Suranshy in 1943 during a meeting with a glorious fellow countryman Malik Gabdullin, expressed his admiration by dedicating a poem to him.

Continuing the continuity of generations, the names of Malik Gabdullin and the great akyn Zhambyl sound in parallel in the batyr museum.

The exhibition was held at a high level, made a deep impression on the audience, as if the presence of the spirit of two bright, outstanding personalities was felt.

The Malik Gabdullin Museum has been cooperating with the Zhambyl Zhabayev Literary Memorial Museum since 2014 within the framework of the memorandum.

During the event, a memorandum on further cooperation was updated and an agreement was reached on work in the creative field.

The traveling exhibition "Zhambyl of the six alashes" was presented by the great-granddaughter of Zhambyl Zhabayev, the chief curator of the museum's funds, Karlygash Tezekbai.
