On May 8, the final fights of the XVII traditional boxing tournament dedicated to the Victory Day and the memory of the Hero of the Soviet Union, academician M.Gabdullin took place in the regional specialized children's and youth school of the Olympic reserve No. 3 named after Kazhimukan.

Juniors from Akmola, North Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Mangistau, Aktobe regions and the city of Nur-Sultan competed in the competition and won prizes in their weight categories.

The museum staff congratulated the athletes and presented them with gifts.
